Piano Concert “Soul of Russia” in the Music Salon of the Russian House is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.
In this anniversary year, the famous Russian pianist Roman Salyutov gives a series of concerts in various cities of Australia. His first concert, “Soul of Russia”, will take place at the Russian House in Melbourne on 5th February at 2 pm. The concert program consists of masterpieces of piano music by Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
Roman Salyutov is known not only as a brilliant pianist and conductor, but also as a musicologist who gives master classes and musicological lectures. The audience will enjoy an interesting musical program and an inspired story about the friendship and creativity of two Russian musical geniuses.
During the intermission, a glass of wine, tea, coffee and snacks are offered.
