Table read of Ivan Vyrypaev’s “The Sun Line”

Dear friends, my name is Dima, and I am the director of the Stanislavsky Lab theater group. We are delighted to inform you about an important event in Russian drama. For the first time, the internationally renowned play “Sun Line” by Vyrypaev will be read in English. We have been working on the translation of this play for two years. We invite you to join us for a discussion and reading of “Sun Line” on May 21st at 3 p.m.
This play is about a married couple who gets stuck in the kitchen during their family crisis at 5 o’clock in the morning, trying to figure out how to move forward in their lives. The play depicts the most common pattern of behavior in a crisis of interpersonal relationships.”
Ivan Vyrypaev is the internationally known playwright, director, producer, artist, and recipient of multiple awards. Having worked in cinema and theatre, he currently prefers the latter
